Welcome to the website of Troop 231
of Bellevue, Nebraska.

We pride ourselves on being a boy-lead troop with strong adult leadership to model the Boy Scout Method. Our adults are trained, and are continually updating their adult education to provide a strong scouting program for the boys. You are cordially invited to attend one of our Troop meetings, which are held from 6:30 until 8:00 pm on Monday nights at Thanksgiving! Lutheran Church (located on the southwest corner of 36th Street and Nebraska Highway 370 in Bellevue).

As you review our Yearly Planner, our Calendar, and our Photo Gallery webpages, you will see we go to a great Summer Camp every year, and we also make arrangements for any scout who cannot attend with us.

We try to have a campout on average every other month.

High Adventure:  We are a young troop, but in July 2009 we hiked the Stanley Canyon Trail (west from the Air Force Academy up and over the Rampart Range to Stanley Reservoir), and continued Northwest over other parts of the Rampart Range to the Farish Campgrounds. We also hiked the Falcon Trail around the Air Force Academy, and the long trail around the perimeter of the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado. All Scouts who participated earned their Backpacking Merit Badge!

We follow the Two-Deep leadership method to protect our Boys, and will usually have four or more adults at our events.

Please feel free to contact us using the Scoutmaster, the Assistant Scoutmaster, or the Committee Chairman link.

Again, welcome to our Troop Website, and please contact us for any questions you have, or come visit our troop.

Yours in Scouting,
