Winter Camporee - January 2009

The 2009 Annual Wagon Wheel District Winter Camporee was held at Camp Waconda on January 23-25.
The theme was Winter Olympics, and the events were: Marksmanship, Archery, Orienteering, Trap Fishing,
Fire Building, Hiking/Scavenger Hunt, Ice Rescue, Hawh Tossing, and Hatchet Accuracy. The daytime high
temperatures were in the single digits, and the low Saturday night was -6°. It was cold, but the participants
had fun. Here are a few pictures that were taken in the lodge at Camp Wakonda.
